We use 3D printers to shape plant-based bioplastic into parts for a variety of applications! The material is tough enough for functional prototypes and replicas, but can also degrade over enough time if parts must be disposable.
This production method is faster and cheaper than injection molding, without tooling fees or any worries about changing designs mid-project! The material comes in many colors, and semi-transparent "natural" without dyes.
